Big relief…

Yep, I’ve sent in my entry for the Memory Makers Masters – such a relief to get it in the mail! Hopefully they’ll like my work but if they don’t, they don’t. I’ve done my best.

I’ve been very busy lately but managed to whip up this page for the Embellished dare – using a food wrapper/tinfoil/gladwrap on your page. I created a mirror out of tin foil for this one…

We’ve just taken Joshie to the movies for the first time ever, normally I wouldn’t have bothered trying as he’s such a fidget, but today we went to see Kung Fu Panda. He LOVED it, sat still the whole time and kept looking up at me and grinning – so worth the expensive entry cost! I must be old, I remember it costing me $3 to go see a movie when I was young, now it’s $9 for a child and $15 for an adult… and there’s no jaffa rolling down the aisles these days… ahhh…. memories… LOL

I’ve got some rather exciting news to share very shortly too (for me anyway)…. so if you’re a digi designer keep checking here…

  1. It must be a relief to get your entry in – good luck with that!
Cool layout, love how you made the mirror and cut out the photo.

We were at the movies today seeing Kung Fu Panda as well!!! Must have been a different session (we went at 10.30). My boys both loved it too (and so did Rob and I). I’m a HUGE Jack Black fan šŸ˜‰

BTW, you might be interested in the Yuno card which you can buy for Berkeley … it costs about $30 or $40 and lasts for 6 months. During that time, you get to buy adult tickets for $10 and child tickets for $6 (even for no comps/no free list movies). You also get 3 vouchers for a free movie + free popcorn when you get the card, and you get 25% off food at the Circle Kitchen (we went after the movie and got 2 coffees, 2 fluffies and a brownie for only $11, so great discount). The card is REALLY good value. Go to to order.

WOW again amazing, and yay for joshie watching the movie that is huge šŸ™‚ Carl and I went the other week to indy (yea I know) and it cost $23 for both of us just for tickets – man when I was working there an adult was $8 okay so that was a little whole ago but still and I know I am gonna aound old here but the cinema was gross, lots of ganstas hanging around and popcorn everywhere and the lighting was all dim and quiet unsafe feeling really, I was not to impressed but I loved the movie hee hee

Congrats of getting all you submission done and fingers crossed for you, you must feel so great to have that out of the way šŸ™‚

YAY I am hoping this friday we get to be you, I am so looking forward to playing with your style cause I love, love it and it wall be a super cool challenge.

  4. Awesome layout and yay that all the layouts are winging their way to the USA as we speak!

Kung Fu Panda looks great but might wait until Christmas School holidays to try out a full length movie with David!
